I have been so busy since school started that I haven't had the chance to blog at all. But here I am doing an early morning 4-6 month update on Olivia.
4 months
The month of September brought big changes for Olivia. At her four month check up she weighed in at 16lbs 8oz(95 percentile) and was 25.5in(90 percentile) tall. While we were watching the first Bronco game of the season, Olivia rolled over for the first time and since then has been a rolly polly. She started grasping at toys and became real smiley. She would giggle when Daddy "ate" her neck:)She wore 6-12 month clothes, the outfit below was such a cute Kenna outfit...thanks Marcy for so many cute clothes.
5 months
Olivia's 5 month day was celebrated by her first solid food. She loved it and Mommy was hoping it would help her sleep better at night(it didn't really work:( She loves her food but her new bubble blowing makes it a real mess. Olivia really started playing with toys this month and started showing a little bit of a diva side. She really is such a mellow baby and hardly ever cries...but you take the sippy cup away(or a few other things she really loves) and she goes from 0 to pissed. It's actually pretty funny:)
6 months
We celebrated Olivia's half birthday last Friday at the Zoo...Noah, Ethan, Olivia and I had a great time and Olivia loooved all the animals and loved even more all the kids. She started sitting up last week(see previous post) and now enjoys sittin up and watchin her crazy brothers. Her 6 month stats from her doctors appt: 28in tall(97 percentile), and 19lbs 1oz(90 percentile). She is DEFINITELY smaller than her brothers(by 10 pounds) but still a big girl:) She currently still fits into 6-12 month clothes but has mostly transitioned to 12-18 month( that is what I mostly had from Carrie and Marcy for winter clothes)Unfortunately, she has been having these high fevers(up to 104 degrees) of and on over the past month and a half...the doctor can't figure it out..we are just hoping they will just stop. Fingers crossed, she hasn't had one in two and a half weeks.
