For Anne's spring break I took most of the week off to help out with getting the baby room together and just hanging out with the family. On one of those days, Anne and I had a bright (hehehe) idea to head up the Rocky Mountain National Park and visit our favorite place Bear Lake. During the summer Bear Lake is absolutely beautiful and has some of the best hiking around. During the winter Bear Lake has awesome snow shoeing trails which are very popular. On this particular day, we just wanted to take a quick stroll. Well.....lets just say the wind was blowing and we were not prepared for the weather (Yes, a Boy Scout is supposed to be prepared!).
Anyway, rather than blabber on and on here is a little taste of the first few minutes of our visit. Please notice what little Ethan has to say about our excursion!
I had to add this picture! Says it all. Gotta love how this 4 ft sign is nearly covered by snow.
I caught my little guy balling up a snowball to throw at his dad. Notice the look he is giving me!
The end to a short but successful trip to Bear Lake!
