We can't believe that our little boy is 5 years old today! Wow, it is truly amazing how fast time truly goes by. Noah is such an amazing little boy and we are so blessed to have him as our oldest son. Today Noah requested banana pancakes (eggless), Toy Story 3, and McDonalds for dinner. Grammie Pammy is coming over after dinner to take Noah to Baskin Robbins to get the biggest, baddest ice cream cone they can make.

Uncle Justin is leaving John Deere Tractors effective, sadly, on Noah's birthday. Justin is heading to greener pastures as a field tech, but unfortunately that didn't make breaking the news any easier for Noah. You see, Uncle Justin is Noah's source for green John Deere Tractors (Justin can get an employee discounts). So, Anne and the boys had to head up to Greeley yesterday to get a new tractor for Noah. Lucky guy;)
Noah 1 1/2 years old
Saturday, we are heading to Roosevelt Park where they have a nice splash area to celebrate Noah's birthday party with his 25 good friends (this has ballooned up from the planned 10!). Weather is supposed to be good for a good time at one of Noah's favorite spots!
Noah 2 years old
Noah seems to be growing at bionic speeds these days, both physically and mentally. He towers over other kids his age and seems to like to boss his little brother around.....lovingly. He is always reminding his parents about things....lost phones, to lock the car, to close the garage, to feed beta, and even to buckle his seat belt, though he now knows how to do that by himself. What did we ever do without our Noah?!

How can I forget my little boy learning to ride his bike back in April?! Mom was a bit scared that he would fall but Noah really wanted to learn (he's been watching the other, older neighborhood kids). It took us about a week of practice without the training wheels but once he got it he was off! We worked for another couple of weeks to learn how to start and stop (kinda important). Now? Boy, we have a hard time keeping up with him and he is building some really strong leg muscles. Great job big man!

Noah, we love you very much and hope you have a fun filled 5th birthday. Happy Birthday!
Love,
Mom, Dad, and Ethan
